BeeKK - The honey of our trainee project
We are delighted to present the "AzuBienen" trainee project!
A sweet result of our trainee project - BeeKK
Our apprentices care for six bee colonies on the roof of our company building in Friedrichshafen. From caring for the bees to harvesting and bottling the honey—our apprentices handle every step on their own.
The result: honey from our own beehives at the Friedrichshafen location—available for €4.00 per jar (plus a €0.50 deposit).
Our contribution:
- Teaching practical knowledge about beekeeping and working with bees
- Strengthening teamwork, a sense of responsibility, and initiative among our apprentices
- Raising awareness of the importance of bees and pollinators
