Health card
The electronic health card (eGK) makes access to medical services simple, secure and efficient. With its presentation, all authorized service providers - such as doctors, hospitals or pharmacies - can bill ZF BKK directly for the services provided.
Old card - new brand: your card remains valid!
ZF BKK has a new look - but your health card remains the same. Even though our design has changed: Your previous card will of course remain valid. You can use it as usual for all visits to the doctor and medical facilities.
Note: The new card with the updated brand look will be issued successively - for example if the old card is lost, defective or expires. An exchange is not necessary at present.

If you need a health insurance certificate at short notice, you can download a temporary certificate from our online office - quickly, digitally and easily.
Good to know
- You do not need a new card if you change your address - it is updated automatically.
- If your card is lost or damaged, you can easily request a new card via our digital services or by phone.
- To use digital applications such as ePrescription or ePA, you need a PIN and PUK - you can request these securely from us.
- Insured persons under the age of 15 receive an eGK without a photo.
