Which areas are not accessible?

1. Barrier: Control elements without alternative text
   Description: Alternative text is not displayed where the text area is too small.
2. Barrier: Audio files without alternatives
   Description: Alternatives for audio files and muted videos only convey a small portion of the content.
3. Barrier: Videos without captions
   Description: Videos with audio do not have the necessary captions.
4. Barrier: Videos without audio description and/or full-text alternative
   Description: Videos containing visually heavy segments require a visual alternative, as the audio alone is insufficient for full understanding.
5. Barrier: Not all PDF documents are accessible
   Description: Newly uploaded PDF documents should be created in an accessible format; older ones should be replaced with accessible versions.
6. Barrier: Translations into English
   Description: We use automated translation into English. The German version is used if the data set does not exist in the desired language.

Plans to address these known issues are currently being developed. Once these plans are finalized, they will be published on this page.
