ZF BKK Expands Digital Support Services for Family Caregivers

Family caregivers make an indispensable contribution every day to the care of people in need of care. To provide them with targeted support in their daily caregiving routines, ZF BKK is expanding its range of services and partnering with Gesundheit von Morgen GmbH. The focus is on free online caregiving courses as well as individually tailored learning programs designed to meet the personal needs of insured individuals.

The digital course offerings provide practical knowledge on the most important topics related to care

  • from basic care techniques to
  • organizing daily care routines,
  • to managing dementia
  • to specific medical conditions such as stroke or incontinence.

In addition, family caregivers receive information and guidance to help them keep an eye on their own health and resilience.

“Family caregivers take on a demanding task that is often accompanied by many questions and uncertainties. With these digital care courses, we aim to convey knowledge in an accessible way, provide guidance, and make it easier to manage daily care routines,” says Florian Ranzinger, Head of Care Services at ZF BKK.

Personalized Learning Options Instead of One-Size-Fits-All Solutions

A distinctive feature of the new offering is the personalized composition of the course content. Unlike traditional caregiving courses, the learning modules are tailored to the insured person’s individual caregiving situation.

Factors taken into account include, among others,

  • the care level,
  • existing medical conditions, and
  • the specific challenges of daily life.

Based on this, a tailored course program is created, which can be supplemented with expert advice as needed. In this way, the program combines the flexibility of digital learning formats with needs-based professional support.

Flexible, free of charge, and available anytime

The online care courses can be conveniently accessed via the Internet. Insured individuals decide for themselves when to start a course, pause their studies, or resume them at a later time.

The online care courses are free of charge for ZF BKK insured members. For more information about this program, please visit Care Courses.
