Our primary goal is to preserve our assets. Security and ensuring sufficient solvency at all times clearly take precedence over achieving the highest possible return. Our investments serve exclusively to responsibly manage operating funds, reserves, and administrative assets.

Clear Rules and Effective Controls

Every investment decision undergoes a multi-stage review and control process. This allows us to consistently limit risks and ensure clear procedures.

These include, among other things:

• exclusively legally permissible investment forms,
• broad diversification of investments to avoid major individual risks,
• regular assessments of the solvency and creditworthiness of financial institutions,
• placing funds exclusively with institutions that offer deposit insurance,
• the dual-control principle for all investment decisions,
• the organizational separation of money trading and payment processing,
• regular audits by internal departments and external auditors.

Speculative financial transactions are consistent neither with our statutory mandate nor with our investment strategy.
