Cures and rehab

Sometimes it takes a break to get back on track. Whether following a stay in hospital or for active health care: we accompany you on your way back to everyday life - with clear processes and reliable support.

Follow-up rehab

After a stay in hospital, sometimes more time is needed for recovery. Follow-up rehabilitation (AHB) helps you to get back on track physically. It begins immediately or at the latest 2 weeks after discharge.

Important to know:
When it comes to maintaining or restoring your ability to work, German Pension Insurance is usually responsible. In this case, we will not cover the costs, but we will be happy to help you with the application - together with the hospital social services and your attending doctor.

The law stipulates a statutory co-payment for rehabilitation services.

Preventive cures

Prevention means staying active before complaints arise. Preventive health cures support your health in the long term - especially if outpatient measures at home are no longer sufficient. Your doctor will assess whether the treatment is necessary and whether it should be carried out on an outpatient or inpatient basis.

Outpatient preventive cures (spa cures)

Recreation with a medical focus - in recognized spas in Germany:

  • We cover the contractual costs for the spa doctor as well as all prescribed therapeutic treatments (e.g. baths, massages).
  • Billing takes place conveniently via your insurance card.
  • In addition, we pay an allowance for accommodation, meals, spa tax or travel costs: up to €16 per day, up to €25 per day for chronically ill infants.

Inpatient preventive cures

If an outpatient cure is not sufficient, we cover all the costs of inpatient preventive care - from treatment to accommodation - in recognized contract facilities.

Mother/father/child cures

Whether you are a mother or a father - you do a lot every day. If the strain becomes too much, a cure can help to bring your body and soul back into balance.
