Dentures

Despite careful care, it can happen: A tooth is so badly damaged that it has to be replaced. Good to know: With ZF BKK you are on the safe side even then. We contribute to the costs - fairly, transparently and individually tailored to your situation.

Our service for you

We pay a statutory fixed allowance for medically necessary treatment with dentures. The amount of this subsidy depends, among other things, on how regularly you have had preventive dental care.

This is how you can increase your subsidy:

  • +10% if you have been to the dentist at least once a year for a preventive check-up in the last 5 years before the start of treatment (children and adolescents: per calendar half-year)
  • +5% extra if you can provide proof of this over 10 years

Important: Have your preventive check-ups regularly documented in your bonus booklet - it pays off!

Special regulation for the year 2020

Not everyone was able to visit the dentist in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. We are acting in the interests of our policyholders: a one-off gap in 2020 is considered to have been filled. So your bonus entitlement remains intact.

How to apply for your fixed allowance

Your dentist creates a treatment and cost plan

You send it to us together with your bonus booklet

We calculate your personal fixed allowance

Our subsidy remains the same for alternative forms of treatment (e.g. higher-quality dentures). You bear the additional costs yourself - or you can take out supplementary dental insurance to cover them.

Dentures on a low income

If your income is below certain limits, an increased subsidy is also possible up to full cost coverage. Please contact us at an early stage - we will advise you individually and discreetly.
