The aim of the program is to reduce the risk of premature birth and provide you with the best possible medical support. Thanks to special examinations, possible infections can be detected and treated at an early stage. In this way, we want to contribute to the healthy development of your baby - beyond the legal requirements and completely free of charge for you.

How to obtain the benefit
Participation in the "Hallo Baby" screening program is free of charge for you. All you have to do is sign a declaration of participation at a participating gynecological practice. If your doctor is not yet participating, accreditation can be easily obtained from the relevant Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.

Good to know
If you take part in the "Hello Baby" screening program, you can make an appointment at a paediatric practice before the birth. There you will receive helpful information on vaccinations, breastfeeding, nutrition, vitamin prophylaxis, accident prevention and safe baby sleep. The "My pediatrician" app will help you find a suitable practice.
