Laser therapy for vaginal diseases

Vaginal discomfort can have a significant impact on quality of life. Modern laser therapy offers a gentle, non-invasive treatment option - without surgery or anesthesia. It is quick, virtually pain-free and targets the area where discomfort occurs.

How laser therapy works

The treatment is usually carried out in three sessions at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks. A sterile laser applicator is inserted into the vagina and slowly rotated through 360°. The targeted laser pulses stimulate collagen production in the entire vaginal epithelium - this strengthens the tissue and can significantly alleviate discomfort.

The session itself only takes a few minutes, is virtually painless and does not require anesthesia.

Who is the therapy suitable for?

Laser treatment is suitable for complaints such as

  • Vulvovaginal atrophy (thinning of the genital tissue)
  • Stress incontinence
  • Lichen sclerosus
