Good to know
There are special legal requirements for measles - for example for employees in the healthcare sector, education or in shared accommodation.
Under the Measles Protection Act, certain groups of people have had to provide proof of measles protection since March 1, 2020. These are, among others:
- All persons born after December 31, 1970 who are cared for in a communal facility. This also applies to people who have already been cared for in a children's home for 4 weeks or are accommodated in a refugee shelter.
- Persons who work in healthcare facilities such as hospitals and doctors' surgeries or in communal facilities or shared accommodation.
- Children who attend a kindergarten or school.
Submit a specified invoice with a doctor's prescription via the online office or ZF BKK Service App. Please also state the destination.
