Domestic help

Whether suddenly ill, in rehab or after childbirth - if everyday life cannot continue as usual, we step in. With a home help, we ensure that everything continues to run smoothly at home - especially if children are involved.

Your advantages

  • Reliable support in the event of illness, rehabilitation or during pregnancy
  • Care for your children under the age of 12 (without age limit in the case of disability) is guaranteed
  • Assumption of costs for domestic help - for example by social welfare centers
  • Individual advice on benefits and applications

When we help

You are entitled to household help if

  • you look after one or more children under the age of 12 and are temporarily unable to do so, or
  • you are unable to continue running the household due to illness, surgery or pregnancy

Specifically, we support you with

  • inpatient hospital stays
  • medical rehabilitation or preventive care
  • serious illness
  • an acute worsening of an illness, especially after a stay in hospital, an outpatient operation or after outpatient hospital treatment
  • pregnancy complaints and childbirth (even without a child in the household)

Note: The entitlement only exists if no one in the household can take over the tasks.

Please submit the following documents before the household help begins:

  • the completed application

  • a medical certificate

Yes, the law provides for a statutory co-payment for the use of domestic help. This amounts to:

  • 10% of the costs, minimum €5, maximum €10 per calendar day.
