Optional tariff premium payment

Reward yourself for your health! With our "Premium payment" optional tariff, you receive an attractive cash premium if you and your co-insured dependants (aged 18 and over) do not make use of any services other than preventive check-ups within a calendar year.

It's that simple

Register for the optional tariff via the service app, the online office or by submitting a declaration of participation.

No benefits other than preventive medical check-ups for one calendar year.

  • Vaccinations and preventive measures
  • Services for the prevention of dental diseases (group / individual and dental prophylaxis)
  • Preventive medical services (exception: outpatient spa treatments)
  • Health and children's examinations
  • Preventive services during pregnancy in accordance with maternity guidelines
  • Claims for benefits for co-insured children under the age of 18

All treatments or prescriptions that go beyond the preventive benefits listed above. Privately paid benefits that are not submitted for reimbursement have no effect on the premium.

No, we will cover the costs of medically necessary treatment via your insurance card. However, you will not have to pay the premium for the entire calendar year. You can continue to use your insurance card.

  • Members who have been insured with us for at least three months
  • Contributions may not be paid in full by third parties (e.g. if you receive unemployment benefit or citizen's allowance)

  • The optional tariff can be selected on the 1st of a month, also retroactively from January 1st.
  • The commitment period is one year and is automatically extended unless written notice is given one month before expiry.

Yes, in the event of need for assistance (SGB II/XII), changes to the additional contribution or termination of membership.

Once all requirements have been checked, the premium is transferred automatically in September of the following year

Yes, we are obliged to report the contribution refund to the tax office.
